The 2013 NBA Playoffs continue with Game 2 of the Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs with tipoff at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT. If you can't watch the game, then you're in luck as KSPN will be broadcasting the game online. Here's what to expect from this matchup.
The Lakers might have Jordan Hill back healthy, the question is will Mike D'Antoni give him action. We saw Steve Nash struggle after being given the chance to start. He was inactive for about a month, imagine what Hill would bring to the table if given a chance to play.
The Spurs will look to get great support from their core of veterans. Tim Duncan is playing like he's 28 years old, while Manu Ginobili simply needs the officials to blow their whistle signaling the beginning of the postseason and he turns it up a notch. The Spurs are banged up too, which is why the closed the season out 3-7, but they didn't show any signs of slowing down in the playoffs following their Game 1 91-79 victory over the Lakers.
The Spurs will have to do a better job at making baskets. They shot poorly in Game 1, which allowed the Lakers to hang around longer than expected. Though the Lakers are missing their leader, Kobe Bryant, they showed a good fight, keeping the game close and at times, playing smart basketball.
If the Lakers have any chance of winning this game, they need Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard have to dominate in the paint. The Lakers have two 7-footers on the floor and the Spurs only have Duncan as a true center in their lineup. Steve Blake is doing his best to keep the Lakers alive in the playoffs though they possess no hope without Bryant.
