The PGA Tour 2014 schedule is picking up again this week after the Honda Classic and the next tournament for the season will be at the WGC-Cadillac Championship from Doral in Miami with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy as both try to recover from this weekend ahead of the Masters in April.

Woods was forced to withdraw on Sunday with a back issue following his best round of the season and McIlroy was leading the tournament all weekend before flaming out at the end with a double bogey and a bogey to end his day and that set up a playoff that was won by Russell Henley. The World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship will go down from March 6 to March 9 and it comes live from Doral Golf Resort & Spa on NBC and The Golf Channel and last year the winner was Tiger Woods and at the same time on tour comes the Puerto Rico Open from Coco Beach Golf & Country Club.

Woods and McIlroy are getting prepared for the Masters and that comes live from Augusta National coming up in April and that starts on April 10 and lasts to April 13. Last season Woods was in the mix until his dropped ball controversy and McIlroy and Woods each are looking to win a major once again after missing out last year. The Valero Texas Open and the Shell Houston Open are the two tournaments before the Masters and the Arnold Palmer Invitational tournament also comes before the Masters and that was won by Woods as well.

Woods won five times last season and took back his number one ranking from McIlroy and now the two are looking to get back into things heading into this week. Woods withdrew after 13 holes on Sunday with a back issue and he plans on playing in Doral, although that could change. Woods said that he was planning on adding an event before the Masters and now he could do that instead of Doral.
