The PGA Tour is live on Thursday for the first round at the WGC-Cadillac Championship and there will be streaming coverage for Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott and Phil Mickelson and it comes live from Doral and TPC Blue Monster for the latest tournament on the schedule and tee times start up at 11 am for the day.

Woods nearly did not participate in the event and that came after he suffered a back injury while at the Honda Classic last weekend. Woods withdrew for just the sixth time in his career and many wondered if he would be cleared for play at Doral, where he won this tournament last year ahead of the Masters. Last season Woods won five times and three of those were before the Masters, but this year has been the exact opposite, as Woods has struggled in all his starts.

Woods opened the season with a rough go of it at the Farmers Insurance Invitational at Torrey Pines and that was a tourney where he was defending champ and it was at a course that he knows very well, but he missed the secondary cut. Woods then finished at 41st in Dubai and then had to come out of the Honda last week and now he looks to get back on track on Thursday. Woods took back his number one ranking last year from Rory McIlroy, but now he could lose it, as Adam Scott could move up if he wins and Tiger is sixth or worse.

Woods has 79 wins in his career and he is looking to get back on track ahead of the Masters and it could be another long year for him if he doesn't win a major. Scott won the Masters last year after Woods was looking like he would be in contention, but he missed out after his flag hitting caused a drop controversy and now he needs to rebound this week at Doral.

Woods was forced to withdraw last week after just 13 holes in the final round and two years ago at this course he had to do the same and now he is hoping for a strong round. Many have wondered whether this injury would force Woods to change his schedule and he said that he may add another tournament to his list before the Masters. The event is coming in April and it is just around the corner for many golfers and they will be looking to sharpen up ahead of it.
