PGA Tour US Open 2014 TV Schedule: Tee Times For Major Golf Championship Starts Thursday Pinehurst

The PGA Tour golf schedule is at the US Open Championship 2014 starting Thursday and the tee times for the major tournament at Pinehurst have been revealed for the first round and names like Phil Mickelson, Justin Rose, Bubba Watson, Adam Scott and Rory McIlroy are eagerly anticipating the tourney and the TV coverage will be on ESPN, NBC and the Golf Channel, while Tiger Woods will not be in the field after dealing with surgery and Rose comes in as the defending champion.

The United States Golf Association released the tee times for the tournament and Mickelson will be with Rose and that group will be teeing off in the morning at Pinehurst No. 2. Mickelson is looking to complete the career major run with the US Open and he has come close in the past and now has a chance to do it at Pinehurst when things kick off on Thursday. Mick has been the runner up at the tournament six times and he will be with Rose at the 10th tee along with U.S. Amateur champ Matthew Fitzpatrick at 7:51 am ET on the first day and then in the afternoon on Friday.

Mickelson has not been at his best as of late when it comes to the majors and he has been over 70 when paired with Rose at majors and he is hoping for a better result on Thursday. Mickelson said coming into the tournament that he feels good and while he is dealing with an insider trading case, it appears that Lefty is totally focused on the task at hand.

The last three Masters champions Bubba Watson, Adam Scott and Charl Schwartzel were put together in a group for the first two days and Webb Simpson, Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell were also paired together. McIlroy comes in after a wild month that saw him break off his engagement to Caroline Wozniacki and he also won a tournament and he is looking to keep things going as well.

The coverage for the tournament comes from NBC, ESPN and the Golf Channel and starts on Thursday at 9 am for the first round and coverage continues at 5 pm also for the first and second rounds on ESPN. This will be the last run for the Open for ESPN and the WatchESPN website will also have coverage of the event. SportsCenter will be at the Open and after Thursday and Friday, things pick up on the weekend coverage with NBC.

The network has Thursday and Friday coverage with two hour blocks and they also pick up on Saturday coverage from noon-7:30 pm ET and then on Sunday they will have the final round. ESPN Radio will have the broadcast for the tournament as well and the Golf Channel also has coverage and special programs from the event.
