Novak Djokovic vs. Grigor Dimitrov Live Stream: Watch Online Wimbledon Streaming Match Semis

Jul 04, 2014 07:59 AM EDT

Wimbledon 2014 is live on Friday with the semifinals from the All England Club on ESPN and WatchESPN starting with Novak Djokovic and Grigor Dimitrov before Roger Federer and Milos Raonic play and it's on the schedule at 8 am ET and comes after Andy Murray was upset and now the men's final on the bracket will be set after this matchup.

Federer is coming into the day looking to make it to his first final in seven grand slam tournaments and he previously has won five Wimbledon tournaments and is looking to take another one with Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray getting upset. Wimbledon has had a number of upsets, including Serena Williams, Li Na and David Ferrer and now the men's side will have a new champion after Murray was upset and the tournament organizers are hoping for a matchup between Dojo and Fed.

The semifinals matchups on the men's side are very strong despite the big names going down, with Raonic looking to make it two Canadian players in the finals with Eugenie Bouchard making it on the women's side of the draw. Bouchard has had actor Jim Parsons following her exploits at the All England Club and she is trying to become the first Canadian player to win a grand slam and the same goes for Raonic on the men's side. Dimitrov upset Murray in the quarterfinals to end his reign as the champion at Wimbledon and he was beaten easily in three sets, winning just three games apart from the second set and now Dimitrov is looking to make it to his first final.

Dimitrov is seeded at number 11 and now the Wimbledon organizers will not get the matchup of Murray and Djokovic or Murray and Federer and that's their own fault for the way they set up the draw and seeds. Djokovic is looking to win another Wimbledon tournament and now Federer is coming in with a drought after putting up so many majors in his career and he will avoid Nadal and that could lead to a win in the major final if he can get past Raonic. Murray had an up and down year and was looking to get back to the finals after snapping a 77 year streak of a British player winning the tourney and now he is done.

Dimitrov has been playing very well as of late and now he has the chance to advance to the final, but he will have to play against Djokovic and that is no easy feat. Dimitrov was simply better against Murray, putting up 10 aces in the match and he also had 32 winners and he was dominant over Murray for most of the match, Djokovic and Dimitrov have matched up in the past, with Dojo winning three of the four matches and now he has the chance to add another win to that record. Raonic comes in after playing against Nick Kyrgios, who defeated Rafael Nadal in the fourth round and that was a hard fought match by both players.
