US Open Golf Live Stream Schedule: Tee Times For PGA Tour Major Championship From Fox Sports At Chambers Bay

Jun 17, 2015 12:11 PM EDT

The US Open golf championship is live on Thursday and Friday for the first round and second round of the major from Chambers Bay in Washington and the TV coverage is from Fox Sports 1 and live streaming is from the USOpen.com website as the PGA Tour descends on the Pacific Northwest.

The major will have players like Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson, Adam Scott, Bubba Watson and Justin Rose in action and west coast location means primetime coverage. The Open is moving to Fox for the first time and one of the major storylines will be Mickelson, who is trying to win his first US Open major after finishing second multiple times.

Last year Martin Kaymer won the US Open and he was there for the weekend and before that it was Justin Rose, Webb Simpson and rory McIlroy back in 2012. The coverage for the tournament picks up at 12 pm ET from Fox Sports 1 and there will be primetime coverage on FOX at 8 pm. The tournament opens up at 10 am ET for all four rounds and live streaming from the US Open website has featured group coverage.

Tiger Woods has been a mess all year, but he said he was feeling confident heading into the first round after playing a practice run on Chambers Bay. Woods said that he played a nine hole practice round earlier in the week and that he is feeling good with his putter and driving off the tee. Woods has long odds with how he has played this year, but everyone is always waiting for the old Woods to come back and win one again. Mickelson of course will have attention along with McIlroy, while some in the golf media have predicted that Fowler will take the major.

Mickelson always has attention on him here and he comes in with a 18-degree driving iron after using it last week, opting to change things up from what he usually does. The course has had plenty of attention coming into the tournament as well for its unique layout and that could have an impact on this major. The Open is being played for the 115th time and this one could be one of the more memorable tournaments in recent memory because of Chambers Bay.

Woods is coming in after a terrible run at the Memorial, but he said that he has been hitting the ball well and that he feels comfortable at Chambers Bay. Woods has not been anything close to a winning player this year with his performances at the players Championship and his 71st place standing at the Memorial. This tournament would be a great time to bounce back for Woods and Mickelson is hoping he stays in the mix through the weekend.
