Pittsburgh Steelers News: Landry Jones Replaces Big Ben After Getting Injured Again for Mike Tomlin

The Pittsburgh Steelers may find themselves without the services of Ben Roethlisberger for a couple of weeks as he has suffered a foot injury in the Steelers week 9 game. Roethlisberger left midway through the 4th quarter in a game that was tight from the opening snap.

The Raiders were pressuring Big Ben all day and finally got the better of Marcus Gilbert the right tackle of the Pittsburgh Steelers who gave up the hit that led to the injury. Roethlisberger missed four weeks with an MCL sprain and a bone bruise that hindered the Steelers from getting some wins to keep pace with the surging Cincinnati Bengals.

Roethlisberger after a rough outing in week 8 finally looked like his old self throwing for 334 yards, 2 touchdowns, and just 1 interception before his injury. Landry Jones came in to relieve the injured Roethlisberger and completed several big plays to Antonio Brown that allowed the Steelers to sneak away with the win.

Big Ben reportedly suffered a mid-foot sprain which should cost Roethlisberger a couple of weeks however if the injury is a grade 2 or 3 sprain there could be ligament damage which could put him out for a couple of months.
