Fantasy Football Year End Review: Wide Receivers, Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, Brandon Marshall, Allen Robinson, Odell Beckham

Antonio Brown (Pittsburgh Steelers): Brown has been absolutely ridiculous for the last few seasons now and him jumping to the head of the pack should not be that big of a surprise. The Steelers had so many weapons this season yet none of them could steal Brown's production and point totals. Brown hauled in 136 out of 195 targets for 1,834 yards. Brown managed to reel in 10 touchdowns and tacked on 3 rushing attempts that gained 28 yards. Brown managed to convert two 2 point conversions and only lost 2 fumbles on the season.

Julio Jones (Atlanta Falcons): Jones was expected to be the leader in fantasy points amongst wide receivers however he slowed down as the Falcons offense sputtered out of control. Having another playmaker in Devonta Freeman also hurt Jones's fantasy value down the stretch. Jones caught 136 out of 204 targets for 1,871 yards. He got into the end zone 8 times and only lost 1 fumble.

Brandon Marshall (New York Jets): Marshall had a stellar season with the New York Jets as he looked to make an impact on his new squad. Marshall instantly became the number 1 target for Ryan Fitzpatrick and became one of the most consistent players in the NFL. Marshall caught 109 out of his 174 targets and gained 1,502 yards through the air. Marshall recorded 14 touchdowns and only 2 fumbles for a loss.

Allen Robinson (Jacksonville Jaguars): Robinson had an amazing season and what is even more incredible is that he was playing for the Jaguars. The Jaguars offense was humming which meant that Robinson was in for one of his best statistical years in the NFL. Robinson hauled in 80 of his 153 targets for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Odell Beckham JR (New York Giants): OBJ had a tough end to the season with the Giants missing out on the playoffs most likely due to Beckham being suspended for a meaningful contest against the Minnesota Vikings. OBJ  became Eli Manning's most dominant target which helped the Gmen get so close to playoff contention. OBJ finished the season hauling in 96 out of 159 targets for 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns. For good measure OBJ also tacked on a 2 point conversion.

Honorable Mention

DeAndre Hopkins (Houston Texans): Hopkins was the hottest receiver in the NFL for most of the season. It never mattered who his quarterback was he was a dominant force in most contests. Hopkins would often dominate opposing defensive backs en route to huge fantasy point totals. He also saw the most targets in the NFL for about a month until the Texans slowed down tremendously which allowed the other players on this list to catch up. Hopkins would finish the season catching 111 out of 193 targets for 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns. Hopkins also hauled in a single 2 point conversion.
