Super Bowl 50 is set with the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers and the game is on schedule for February 7 from Santa Clara, California at Levi's Stadium. The TV channel coverage is from CBS and the halftime show will feature Coldplay, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars as the NFL decides its champion for the 2015 season.

The Denver Broncos advanced to the Super Bowl for the second time in three seasons with a win over the New England Patriots, while the Carolina Panthers advanced after winning over the Arizona Cardinals. Peyton Manning will get another chance to win a Super Bowl after winning over the Patriots in a close AFC title game, while Cam Newton will go for his first championship with the Panthers.

The Panthers were the top team in the NFL this season with a 15-1 record and they come into the game after a dominating performance against the Cardinals in the NFC title game. The Panthers started the season 14-0 before losing their first game and they are coming in with a ton of confidence after the way they played through the playoffs. The Panthers offense was the highest scoring in the league and now they will face off against the top defense in the Broncos.

Both teams have elite talent on both sides of the ball and the key matchup could end up being the Panthers offense against the Broncos defense. Newton has had an MVP season for the Panthers and he now will get to show what he can do on a worldwide stage. Newton accounted for 45 touchdowns through the regular season and it will be up to players like Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware to keep him in check on Super Bowl Sunday.

Manning and the Broncos almost were left for dead when Manning went down with an injury, but Denver did not give up on the season and ended up as the number one seed in the AFC. Manning returned to start in the playoffs and got the job done against the Steelers and Patriots and now the team has the chance to win the Super Bowl after being blown out a couple years ago. This could be the final chance for manning to add another title to his legacy and it would help erase the bad taste that the loss to Seattle left in the Super Bowl in New Jersey.

The league is doing away with Roman numerals for this special Super Bowl, as it is the 50th editioin of the game and will be styled as "Super Bowl 50" for this matchup. The game is being held in the Bay Area and that marks the first time since the 80s that the game will be there. The halftime show lineup is being headlined by Coldplay and It will also feature performances from Beyoncé and Bruno Mars. The commercials for the Super Bowl are pretty expensive for this year, as it will cost $5 million for a 30-second spot for companies.
