Mama June Weight Loss: Reality Star Dropped Over 100 Pounds Without Dieting Or Surgery

Here comes Mama June, a much slimmer and trimer Mama June. The reality show mother from TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" revealed to TMZ she has lost over 100 pounds without even trying. That's right, 100 pounds without dieting, exercise or surgery. June did not even realize the weight loss happened until her clothes became too big wear.

June became famous for her regular diets of 'sketti,' consisting of noodles, butter and ketchup, washed down with 'go-go-juice,' a mix of Mountain Dew and Red Bull. June claims to have weighed 365 pounds when she first began taping the hit TLC reality show and now has trimmed down to 263 pounds. She did not try some crazy new fad-diet. She did not join a fancy gym and begin a heavy workout schedule. She did not try some quick-fix diet pill. She credits the fact that the show keeps her so busy with a hectic production and promotion schedule.

"No, I have not felt no pressure to change. I was blond about six years ago and I wanted to go back blond, so I went back blond and loved it. I have lost 115 pounds, but that's because I'm on the go. We love fried food, but I lost that weight because I'm more active doing things," June told the Huffington Post.

So how did she drop the weight without having to change her total way of living? According to New York City's Barry's Boot Camp trainer Noah Nieman, people on the obese side lose weight at a faster rate than others. Nieman said June could be burning 2,000 calories a day just from being active and getting herself off the couch and out of her comfort zone.

While June continues to shrink, her Honey Boo Boo empire continues to grow. The family is reportedly earning between $15,000 and $20,000 per episode of their reality show.  June deposits the money earned directly into a trust fund for the girls.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" averages 2.3 million views an episode. The beloved show makes it return with special "HOLLAday" episodes, starting Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. EST. The family will share their holiday experience and traditions with fans.

"What you see is what you get and we are excited to share even more of Alana and her family's unbridled hilarity, sincerity and love with our viewers," general manager of the TLC network, Amy Winter said in a released statement.
