Jerry Jones New Bus: Dallas Cowboys Owner Brings $2 Million Luxury Bus Named The Elegant Lady To Indianapolis For Team At Scouting Combine (VIDEO)

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is known for his interest in luxury items, as evidenced by his billion dollar stadium in Texas, and he proved that notion once again on Tuesday as he showed off a new multi-million bus he bought to help bring personnel around Indianapolis for the scouting combine.

According to the Dallas Morning News, who got a full tour of the bus, the vehicle cost between $1.5 and $2.5 million and offers a range of space for team executives as well as other amenities. The report says that the teams oiringal bus is still in service, but after putting millions of miles on it, Jones felt it was in need of an upgrade.

The bus has been nicknamed "The Elegant Lady" and according to CBSSports.com, the bus originally made its debut at the Super Bowl in New Orleans. In fact, Larry Allen used the bus to watch the announcement of him making it into the Hall of Fame.

According to Deadspin, the bus comes tricked out with a range of amenities, including nine televisions for watching football and other sports, room for 20 with couches and chairs. A parking extension, sliding doors, a modern kitchen as well as multiple Blu-Ray players, kitchen appliances and an outdoor television for tailgates.

The bus will primarily be used for the team to get around town and to meet with prospects and other personnel and it could also be used for social events.

Jones has spent this offseason changing things up in Dallas, including by firing defensive coordinator Rob Ryan and bringing in Monte Kiffin. He also is starting to work on an extension with Tony Romo once the agent meets with the team.

The Dallas Morning News report starts off with a comment from David Moore, writing: "Irate fans who want the Cowboys thrown under the bus for missing the playoffs the last three seasons should know it will be done in style."
