Lindsey Vonn Vows To Return By The 2014 Winter Olympic Games, Won't Discuss Relationship With Tiger Woods (Video)

Skier Lindsey Vonn has pledged a vow that she will be ready for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games despite breaking her right leg and tearing her ACL and MCL on Feb. 5 at the Alpine skiing world championships in Austria.

"Right now my goal is to be back for 2014 in Sochi," Vonn said on the TODAY show Monday morning. "Honestly, in a worst-case scenario, if I trained a week before the Games, I'd be fine.

"I have plenty of time to be ready for Sochi."

Vonn's vow to return to skiing comes just a few weeks after the media reported heavily on the fact that the skier has been linked to professional golfer and misogynist Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn were linked after the skier was photographed while getting into Tiger Wood's private jet in Austria.

The two were reportedly hanging out for weeks prior to the accident. Vonn reportedly gave Wood's children a skiing lesson. Asked about Woods, Vonn said, "I'm only two weeks out from the worst injury I've had in my career. At this point, I'm just not going to talk about my personal life.''

Vonn will be under tremendous pressure over the next year. She's going to be rehabbing one of the most devastating injuries of her career while competing at the highest level.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Vonn discussed what was going through her mind during the initial moments of the injury.

"Basically what happened was I came into that jump going a little bit faster, or I don't know if I just hit the jump wrong, but I feel like I flew a lot further than the other girls,'' Vonn said. "When I landed, the snow was just different. The snow was soft. It was not slick, basically, and my right ski just stopped and my knee buckled. I feel that loose snow was 100% the reason why I crashed.

"I initially thought it was going to be worse. There was just so much pain that I couldn't quite tell where exactly it was coming from."

Here's a video of Lindsey Vonn's accident, which inspired the "Lindsey Vonn vow":
