$1,800 ATM Mistake Corrected After Devon Gluck Returns Money to PNC Bank

A $1,800 ATM mistake was corrected after good Samaritan, Devon Gluck, returned the cash dispensed. The money didn't belong to Gluck, but his quick thinking and good heart corrected a problem that would have found somebody $1,800 short on their account.

Maybe it's just a major coincidence that his last name rhymes with luck, but the lucky one in this situation was the person whose money Gluck eventually returned.

Though the news is trending now, this is not a recent occurrence. Back on Feb. 1, Gluck heard strange noises coming from PNC Bank ATM machine. There were 18 Benjamin Franklins up for grab, so Gluck wisely took it.

However, he didn't immediately come to a decision regarding what he should do with the money. Gluck, who studies at the University of Delaware, could have kept the money. College students can always use some extra money. Heck, $1,800 can fund one hell of a Harlem Shake video. However, Gluck proved to be a great person and instead decided to return the money to PNC Bank.

The person who had the ATM mistakenly draw the $1,800 received their refund after Gluck returned every single Benjamin.

What would you have done in Gluck's case, keep the money, keep half of the money or return the full amount?
