World Baseball Classic 2013 Schedule: Watch Italy vs. Mexico, Venezuela vs. Dominican Republic and Netherlands vs. Cuba

The World Baseball Classic returns from its 24-hour hiatus following an excellent matchup between Cuba and Japan. There will be six teams hitting the field as three games highlight Thursday's WBC schedule. Check out the matchup, time and where to watch the action as the first round begins for Pools C and D.

The Italians take on the Mexicans in the first game scheduled for Thursday action. 

If you're wondering who you can watch in the Italian team, Anthony Rizzo, the current and future first baseman for the Chicago Cubs, is set to make his debut in international competition. The kid is expected to rake in the majors and forms part of a young Cubs team that is young, on the rise and talented. 

For Mexico, Adrian Gonzalez, who is the most popular Mexican star, will lead the way. Also watch Sergio Romo close out games for the Tri-color with the eagle.

Next one, one of the more intriguing match that serves itself to a comparison of the Cuba vs. Japan game. It will be the Dominican Republic versus Venezuela in a game packed with stars.

The last game of the day features Cuba and the Netherlands. These two countries play in the first round of the 2013 World Baseball Classic. Cuba remains undefeated and the Netherlands were the second place team out of Pool B. 

It should be a great game between these to nations as Cuba remains to triumph with slightly anonymous stars while the Netherlands has young up and coming major league talented blended in with yesterday's stars.
