Is it surprising that Japan is present in the semis? They've been there for the third consecutive WBC. For the Netherlands, this game will call for some adjustments as the last time these two guys met, Japan smoked them 16-4.

Everybody expected this matchup to feature Cuba and Japan, but the Netherlands beat them twice in the WBC. Andrelton Simmons is looking like a star as he's been handling the leadoff role very well for the Netherlands. However, it's important to note that the Netherlands comes into this game banged up. They loss Bernedina and they are without their official clean up man.

They will rely heavily on guys like Andruw Jones who, by putting the ball in play yesterday, sparked a rally late in the game against Cuba. They eventually loaded the bases and the winning run came around to score.

Japan will be looking to dominate the WBC tournament as they will be looking to put another beating on the Netherlands.
