Japan vs. Netherlands Score with WBC Live Updates, Play-by-Play in World Baseball Classic Semis at 6 p.m. ET

The action comes from Tokyo as Japan and the Netherlands meet. Now, not everybody can watch the game online, but follow the score with MLB's scoring update through the MLB Gameday. Follow the game, know who's on deck, in the hole and check out stats and pitch-by-pitch breakdowns as the Netherlands and Japan meet in the 2013 WBC Semifinals.

The WBC brings two great teams at opposite ends of the spectrum. For the Netherlands, it's been baby steps to the championship. They upset the Dominican Republic in 2009 and this year they beat Cuba twice to advance to the semis.

For the Japanese, well, they've been here before every time when playing in the Baseball Classic. They are the defending champions, but the Netherlands will look to settle the score as Japan destroyed them 16-4 in their last meeting.

On the mound for the Kingdom of the Netherlands, right-hander David Bergman, who's a veteran 31-year-old right hander. On the hill for the Japanese is Kenji Otonari, the left-handed 28-year-old.

Once again, follow the live score with the MLB Gameday. Though the action isn't coming live, they provide highlights of the action after it happens and it allows fans to stay in touch with the live action.

If the Netherlands wins, they upset the two-time WBC champions. If Japan wins, they could solidify their bid as the best in the world locking up their third consecutive finals appearance.
