The Big 12 will take center stage on Wednesday as the conference's Championship Week has arrived. Check out the top seeded ranks ready to be upset by hungry teams at the bottom of the rankings. Also, see the schedule, seedings of the Big 12 bracket with times and date of each first round matchup.
Both Kansas schools are ranked No. 1 and No. 2. The Wildcats are No.2 while the Jayhawks are ranked No. 1. These two guys have the luxury of resting up as they will await for an opponent in the quarterfinals. There will only be 10 teams competing in this competition, so this tournament will be over by Saturday.
First up on the schedule, features West Virginia (8) vs. Texas Tech (9) at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The winner will have the honor of facing the Jayhawks. On Wednesday again watch Texas Longhorns (7) vs. TCU (10) at 9:30 p.m. ET. They will take on the Wildcats.
For the rest of the guys, Oklahoma (4) vs. Iowa State (5) can be seen at 12:30 p.m. ET and Oklahoma St. (3) vs. Baylor (6) will play at 9:30 p.m. ET in an evening cap.
The winner of the last two games will automatically advance into the semifinals where they will face whoever escapes the games against both Kansas teams.
Last year, Missouri defeated Baylor in the championship game to crown themselves champions in 2012.
