Kentucky Stays No. 1 in AP Top 25

Kentucky remains the top team in the latest Associated Press men's college basketball poll. Starting November, the Wildcats stayed as the top team in the nation for four weeks.

On Monday, it received 63 first-place votes from the 65-member national media panel.

Syracuse is No. 2 followed by Missouri and Kansas. The last five teams ranked this week are Saint Mary's, Virginia, Notre Dame, Gonzaga and Wichita State. 

This week, there were matchups on Thursday between Wisconsin and Michigan State and a Big Ten battle on Saturday.
