Spain vs Finland Live Stream: Watch Free Online World Cup Qualifier

Spain will look to tighten their grip on first place in Group I with a win over Finland in their World Cup Qualifier game Friday.

Spain have garnered seven points from three games so far, the same as France, who are in second on goal difference. The two sides will meet again on Tuesday and both will be keen to ensure they face off on a high.

"We have a sound team," Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque told Marca. "The team will respond very well. We need to focus on Finland first.

"I'm worried about the match in Gijon on the 22nd. We need to be on good form and get three points."

Del Bosque said he would start with goalkeeper Victor Valdes, with first choice keeper Iker Casillas missing through injury. David Villa might also be in line for a start against Finland, who are bottom of the group with one point, with the Barcelona forward looking like he is back to his best following recent performances.

"The change in Villa is the best thing," Del Bosque said. "The optimism he's giving off at the moment. It's different from before. Fortunately he's recovered. We've recovered the best Spanish goalscorer."

"I've had a run of a few games in the starting eleven and the team has won, so I'm happy," Villa added. "I've been looking for that regularity with the team for some time. I'm looking to have a good end to the season, which has had plenty of ups and downs, both for me and my club."

The world champions will also be without Carles Puyol, while Xavi Hernandez is a major doubt with a hamstring problem.

"The most important game for us has to be tomorrow's, against Finland," Spanish playmaker Juan Mata said. "Like Vicente said, it would be a mistake to think about Paris. We have to win tomorrow first."

Finland playmaker Alexei Eremenko is suspended, with Perparim Hetemaj expected to replace the Rubin Kazan man.
