Sandusky on Today Show Monday As Jerry Will Give Interview With Matt Lauer After Penn State Child Sex Abuse Scandal (VIDEO)

Jerry Sandusky will appear on the "Today" show on Monday and will give an interview with NBC from prison in Pennsylvania.

According to the Washington Post, Sandusky will give an interview and tell his story in how own words. Matt Lauer announced the news on Friday and said that it will be broadcast on the show on Monday morning. Sandusky is currently serving his prison sentence after being convicted on over 40 counts of child abuse.

"He'll describe in his own words what he says happened on the Penn State campus," Matt Lauer said Friday of the interview, which will be broadcast Monday.

The 69-year-old received a 30-60 years sentence after conviction and the report says that he will discuss the case, as well as Mike McQueary and Joe Paterno. Sandusky spoke to Bob Costas last year in an awkward interview about showering with boys and the story was a lightning rod for the media and Penn State football.
