New Dolphins Logo Gets Love From Dan Marino and Don Shula As Miami Greats Give Approval Of Jersey Design Leak On Twitter (PHOTOS)

The Miami Dolphins are stepping into a new era after making big signings like Mike Wallace and Dannell Ellerbe this offseason and the team is pushing that idea even further, as a new logo has been designed for the franchise.

According to ESPN.com, the Dolphins new logo was leaked last week online and the team confirmed it officially on Wednesday as the new logo. The Dolphin in the team's jersey scheme and helmet will now be a more streamlined and realistic looking Dolphin, while the helmet with the 'M' on will no longer be a part of the design.

Some players showed love for the logo on Twitter afterwards, including Dolphin greats Dan Marino and Don Shule. Marino later on Twitter: "Saw the new @MiamiDolphins logo. Followed the development stage & now its great to see the finished product. #NewEraNewLook #13Approved."
