Kansas City Draft Rumors: Chiefs Select Leon Sandcastle With Number One Pick As Jacksonville Jaguars On Clock For Geno Smith (VIDEO)

The Kansas City Chiefs started the NFL draft early and announced on Monday that they are planning to select Leon Sandcastle, superstar of the Super Bowl commercial, with the number one overall pick in April's draft.

According to NFL.com, the Chiefs have done their due diligence and have decided to select Sandcastle with the number one pick, the team announced on Monday. Andy Reid said that while the team has needs at tackle, wide receiver and on the line, that Sandcastle was too good to pass up after his performance at the combine.

Sandcastle will be featured this year on NFL Network's "A Football Life" and will also be sitting down for interviews on the network on Monday in a one-on-one setting to show off the real Sandcastle and his life story. Sandcastle met with the Chiefs and Andy Reid and it appears the two are a good fit.

The Sandcastle commercial debuted at the Super Bowl and featured Deion Sanders as him working his way through the NFL draft and into the number one spot. It shows his workouts at the combine and people talking on social media and on television about the amazing speed and skills of this "Leon Sandcastle". It shows scouts watching him workout, talking about they have no idea where he comes from, but that he is super-fast.

The commercial ends with the NFL Draft in 2013, with the Kansas City Chiefs selecting Sandcastle with the first pick. Roger Goodell asks Sandcastle, "Have we ever met before?" as the commercial goers to the finish. The commercial was considered one of the best of the Super Bowl.
