Nik Stauskas 102 3-Pointers In Five Minutes From High School As Michigan Wolverines Star Shows Sharpshooting Skills In Home Backyard (VIDEO)

Michigan Wolverines star Nik Stauskas has gained attention as a Canadian player and as one of the best long-range shooters in the nation and he showed just why recently, as an old video surfaced on YouTube showing off his skills while making 102 shots in five minutes.

According to Yahoo Sports, Stouskas made the video in April 2011 while nursing a hip injury at home in Toronto and it shows the star hitting 102 3-point shots in a span of five minutes. Stauskas asked his father, who was rebounding in the video, to build a basketball hoop in the backyard and Stauskas made the most of it, draining shot after shot, much like he did when Michigan won 79-59 over the Florida Gators in the Elite Eight to advance to their first Final Four in nearly two decades.

The video is nothing new, as the StauskasBasketball YouTube channel has a number of ones showing the sharpshooter drain threes from around the arc.

Stauskas has become a fan favorite at Michigan and his scoring is reminiscent of what he did last year during his senior New England Preparatory School Athletic Council championship season in which he averaged 20 points, six rebounds and five assists.
