There are four more teams left to play in 2013 as their Opening Day is today. Here's the entire schedule of Tuesday action as Opening Day 3 comes our way with the Baltimore Orioles vs. Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Indians vs. Toronto Blue Jays highlighting today's matchups. Also, check out what other teams will play today as the third day of baseball is here.
Orioles vs. Rays at 3:10 p.m. ET
The Orioles and Rays look like top candidates to walk out with the A.L. East, as the New York Yankees look too weak to compete in the division. On the mound for the Orioles, Jason Hammel who's coming off an 8-6 2012 season with a 3.43 ERA in 20 starts. He faces David Price, the A.L. Cy Young Award winner who is trying to lead this Rays staff to the postseason once again.
That is the only day game. However, at 7:07 p.m. ET baseball will resume as two of the more anticipated teams take the field.
Indians vs. Blue Jays at 7:07 p.m. ET
The Indians have a menacing lineup as well as the Blue Jays. Both teams did a lot of work over the winter to add new players in attempt to make a run at the playoffs. The Indians have Nick Swisher, Michael Bourn, Drew Stubbs, Mark Reynolds and Mike Aviles in their lineup. The Blue Jays became the Miami Marlins as they have Jose Reyes, Mark Buerhle, Josh Johnson & Co. while signing Melky Cabrera. This should be an exciting season for the Jays.
On the mound for the Jays, their new ace and former N.L. Cy Young Award winner who Toronto traded for, R.A. Dickey. He faces Jason Masterson of the Indians.
