Heat coach Erik Spoelstra will rest starters LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers in tonight's matchup, as James is battling hamstring tightness and Wade and Chalmers dealing with right ankle sprains.

This will be the second game in which the Heat will be without these three starters. The Heat won in San Antonio 88-86 on Sunday without them. Spoelstra said all three players are improving, and none of them were available for comment after Miami's shootaround Tuesday morning.

"We're not panicked about it," Spoelstra said. "We're being very proactive and aggressive with the treatment and rehab, just to make sure we can contain their injuries where they are. You get into 70-plus games, where we are right now, we feel very fortunate. These are minor nicks and knacks that happen over the course of a long season.

"These are minor things right now," Spoelstra added. "Minor things can turn into much bigger things if they're not addressed."

Miami has already wrapped up its third straight Southeast Division title and home-court advantage in the East.

Against the Knicks, the Heat have won nine of 11 meetings in Miami, including three victories in last year's playoffs.
