Bubba Watson Hovercraft Golf Cart Is No April Fools Prank As Golfer Shows Off Floating Vehicle Ahead Of The Masters At Augusta National (VIDEO)

Bubba Watson is one of the most unique golfer's on the PGA tour and he showed exactly why on Tuesday, as he starred in a video for Oakley featuring a hovercraft style golf cart in a video titled "Bubba's Hover."

According to USA Today, the video appears to be legitimate and shows Watson taking the craft over a water hazard and right onto the golf course with no damage to the grounds or to the vehicle. The video is an advertisement for Oakley and while there aren't hovercraft golf carts on the horizon, it could signal a new shift for the future of the vehicle.

The report says it is modeled after a real-life hovercraft vehicle and that the design can cost up to $20,000. Watson is preparing for the Masters in two weeks along with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy as they vie for the first major of the year.

Earlier in the year Watson bought the Florida home of Tiger Woods where he and his wife had their infamous incident on Thanksgiving that led to their divorce.
