Before we get to the link, let's see what these teams bring to the field as they have different guys wearing their jerseys. Game time is at 7:07 p.m. ET.
The Blue Jays made the biggest splash of splashes this offseason as they went from a fourth place team to a potential A.L. East favorite. With the New York Yankees looking injured in 2013, the Blue Jays have a hell of a pitching staff and their hitters aren't bad either.
The traded for R.A Dickey as well as getting Mark Buerhle and Josh Johnson from the Miami Marlins. Along with Brandon Morrow and J.A. Happ will close out the starting rotation that looks deep enough to keep the Blue Jays competitive in the new season.
As for the Indians, their biggest signings came as they acquired Nick Swisher and Michael Bourn. They now have too many players in the outfield as they had traded for Drew Stubbs too. Though they have an entertaining bunch of hitters, also adding Mark Reynolds and Mike Aviles, the Indians lack a convincing starting rotation headed by Justin Masterson and Ubaldo Jimenez.
Both managers will be making season debuts for their respective clubs. The Blue Jays will be led by John Gibbons in his second tenure with the team. Terry Francona will make his debut with the Indians as it will be his first managerial position since managing the Boston Red Sox in 2011.
