They are warming up. THE BLUE JAYS HIT THE FIELD to Star Wars theme!

We are about 5 minutes from first pitch. Due to delays. We can also bring images from the game as it progresses.
Who are you rooting for? Let us know in discussion section underneath the article.

In earlier baseball action, the Orioles beat Tampa Bay 7-4.

The Toronto Blue Jays versus the Cleveland Indians in the last season opener of the year as these are the last two teams to step on the field. Check out the live blog with play-by-play, lineups and scoring updates as we bring you up to the minute info from this game. Let's see what these teams bring to the table.

The Blue Jays are the favorite in the A.L. East as their roster is packed with talent that is hungry to win and filled with talent. However, they are unproven, therefore, they have to show that they're ready to bring the title back to Toronto. They made the adequate moves to surround their sluggers, Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion, with bats that could back them up and players who can get on base.

R.A. Dickey was traded to the Blue Jays, becoming their ace following his 20-6 season with a 2.73 ERA as he went on to win the N.L. Cy Young Award. He'll be pitching in a dome, so weather will be on his side.

The Blue Jays will have the following lineup:
1. Reyes SS
2. Melky Cabrera LF
3. Bautista RF
4. Encarnacion 1B
5. Lind DH
6. Arencibia C
7. Rasmus CF
8. Izturis 3B
9. Bonifacio 2B

With Brett Lawrie out, trading for Emilio Bonifacio makes sense since he can take over second base after Toronto signed Maicer Izturis over the offseason.

For the Cleveland Indians, their season is exciting because they have a dangerous lineup with a lot of flexible players. They added a new outfield with the acquisitions of Michael Bourn and Drew Stubbs. Nick Swisher joins Carlos Santana and Jason Kipnis as a slugger. After mentioning all these players, might as well cue in the Cleveland batting lineup.

1. Bourn CF
2. Cabrera SS
3. Kipnis 2B
4. Swisher 1B
5. Brantley LF
6. Santana C
7. Reynolds DH
8. Chisenhall 3B
9. Stubbs RF

Justin Masterson will take the hill for the Indians.
