The Atlanta Braves take another hack at the Philadelphia Phillies as both teams once again face off in the second game of their three-game series as MLB's Opening Week continues. Here is the live stream of the Braves vs. Phillies, but before we get to that, let's recap on the season opener.

The Braves presented how dangerous there lineup would be as they smacked three home runs off Phillies starter, Cole Hamels as the Braves went on to win 7-5. Though it was a close score, the Braves' offense never allowed the team to trail in this game. Justin Upton made a hell of a debut with a solo shot that gave the Braves a two-run lead and some breathing room in the fifth inning. B.J. Upton went hitless in his debut with the Braves, but the point was that the offense was brilliant.

The Braves are a favorite to win the N.L. East though the Washington Nationals won it in 2012. They have young pitching and a dynamic offense that will surely be at the top in slugging. They face a Phillies team that is attempting to become what they once were in the late 2000's, winning the division five consecutive years. Philadelphia will need the guy on the mound today to step up as he was one of many injured Phillies that missed time in 2012.

Roy Halladay, who is 35 years old age, was the ace of the staff until Cliff Lee and Cole Hamels stayed healthy and pitched more consistent baseball in 2012. Halladay will look to improve his 4-3 record against Atlanta.

The Braves will send Paul Maholm to the mound and he is coming of a very successful Spring Training. He is a career 4-2 against the Phillies though posting a 5.16 ERA.
