Toronto Blue Jays vs. Cleveland Indians Score: Live Updates of Today's Game with Play-by-Play

The Toronto Blue Jays face off against the Cleveland Indians for their second of three games set to be played in the season's opening series. See the score and keep up with the action since not everybody can keep up with the game. Check out the link at the bottom which will allow you to keep pace with this game with first pitch a little after 7:10 p.m. ET.

It will be Ubaldo Jimenez versus Brandon Morrow. Both guys are young power pitchers, though they are coming off completely different circumstances. In 2012, Morrow proved he could withstand the weekly pressures of pitching in the majors. This performance helped him become the No. 2 starter as Morrow closed out the season with a 10-7 record with a 2.96 ERA striking out 108 batters in 124 innings pitched. Morrow surpassed veterans in the roster like Josh Johnson and Mark Buerhle. As for Jimenez, 2012 was the worst of his career posting a miserable 9-17 record and an ERA that was close to 5.50.

The Blue Jays are trying to prove to their fans that they are a winning club in 2013. After making a trade that has them as the favorites in the A.L. East, now all they have to do is combine their skills and give baseball a good name in Toronto.

Jose Reyes proved he will be a great addition to the defense after making solid defensive plays and showing off the bazooka of an arm he possesses. The Blue Jays only scored one run in the game and it was Melky Cabrera the formely shunned outfielder of the San Francisco Giants who came back to MLB following a 50-game suspension. He was smacking the ball everywhere, but only had one hit to show for it.

The Indians also provide excitement with the winter acquisitions of Nick Swisher and Michael Bourn. Not to mention they have guys like Mark Reynolds and Mike Aviles in their roster as well. Terry Francona's job will be to make this team a winner, though they don't look to have adequate pitching to compete in the A.L. Central.
