Messi Sets Champions Record With Five Goals

In Barcelona, FIFA World Player Lionel Messi scored give goals and set a new record for Champions League game.

"I can't remember the last time I scored five goals, so I'm very happy," said Messi, "It's nice to score five goals."

"He's the best (ever). There is no other like him," Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola said. "The numbers speak for themselves. One day he'll score six. We're very fortunate to have Messi, so we have to take advantage of him."

The 24-year-old Messi scored total of 48 goals, just seven away from all-time club record of 235 by Cesar Rodriguez.

"What was important was to win," Messi said. "That's what we wanted to achieve. Now we're in the quarterfinals and we did it impressively."

"The important thing is that we have qualified for the next round. We want to win the Champions again, but all the opponents from now on are going to be very difficult."
