SNL Spoofs Mike Rice Rutgers Video (Video)

By now if you viewed former Rutgers coach Mike Rice practice video, you're in for a hilarious treat after sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live did humors spoof to make light of a negative situation.

The spoof recreates Rice actions with the telling of the story of coach Sheila Kelly of Middle Delaware State, who is being played by Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy.

Although the situation with Rice was unfortunate, the video doesn't go too far or have you feeling guilty for laughing. McCarthy is seen screaming at players while throwing various random, objects outside of a basketball, that includes a toaster oven and even a brick.

One of the funniest parts would have to be when McCarthy drove a golf cart through practice as a way to teach her players to move their feet at all times.

All-in-all the video, though funny, also serves as warning for any coach planning on adopting similar coaching strategies. It just doesn't work.

Another coach known for his temper is legendary coach Bob Knight, the former Indiana and Texas Tech coach.

Knight who currently works for ESPN and has decided to not associate himself with the situation, but according to Chris Russo of SirusXM Radio that may prove more difficult than expected for the legendary coach.

Russo simply summed it best on radio show when he said:

"He (Knight) is the guy everybody thinks about when you see this video."
