Atlanta Braves Starting Lineup Tuesday vs. Miami Marlins: No Jason Heyward

The Atlanta Braves will have Jason Heyward on the bench as they take on the Miami Marlins. Here's the starting lineup as the Braves get set to improve their 2013 five-game win streak. Check out the new players in new positions and spots on the lineup:

Braves Tuesday Batting Lineup
1. B.J. Upton CF
2. Andrelton Simmons SS
3. Justin Upton LF
4. Evan Gattis C
5. Dan Uggla 2B
6. Juan Francisco 3B
7. Chris Johnson 1B
8. Reed Johnson RF
9. Kris Medlen P

Simmons moves from the eighth spot to the second spot of the lineup where he can double up on Upton's speed and if on base, these guys can create chaos for the Marlins pitching staff. Also, his ability to make contact and low strikeout ratio make him a great candidate for a second spot in the lineup.

Gattis looks to be the Braves clean-up batter until Freddie Freeman returns from the disabled list. Also, Julio Teheran has Gerald Lair as his catcher, so that'll be Gattis' day off until Freeman is reinstated. Filling in for the Heyward is Reed Johnson.

Why is Heyward out?

Well, probably the only team in the major without the luxury of subbing out for a guy hitting .083 are the Houston Astros. The Braves manager, Fredi Gonzalez, decided that it was time for Heyward to take a seat following a 2-24 start to the 2013 season. Heyward's last hit came in the second game of the series against the Philadelphia Phillies when he smacked a two-run home run off Jonathan Papelbon. Since then, he's 0-17. It's definitely about time.

Game time is at 7:10 p.m. ET and the Braves will face Wade LeBlanc.
