The NFL has been portrayed onscreen many times in the past and it will get the Hollywood treatment once again come April, as the film "Draft Day" will shoot scenes at Radio City Music Hall as the event goes down with stars Kevin Costner and Dennis Leary.

According to NESN.com, Costner will be portraying the Browns general manager for the film, while Leary will be playing the team's new coach. The film is based on a script by Scott Rothman and Rajiv Joseph and originally Costner was set to be part of the Buffalo Bills, but after some tax incentives, the filming moved to Ohio.

The plot of the film follows Costner as he works on draft day while butting heads with coach Vince Penn, who will be played by Leary. The crew will film at the draft in April and it follow's Costner's work on other sports films, including "Field of Dreams" and "For the Love of the Game".

Ivan Reitman of "Ghostbusters" is directing the film and the team is scouting locations in Cleveland and the surrounding areas. The Browns have been featured in films before, but the NFL draft has never been portrayed quite like this since 1996's "Jerry Maguire."
