Chennai Super Kings, after that amazing last-gasp victory over the Royal Challenger Bangalore, will look to inflict further hurt on Pune Warriors when the two sides meet in an IPL 2013 match at the MA Chidambaram stadium.
CSK are as strong a side as you will find at home, and coupled with the fact the Pune are seriously bereft of confidence, there really only looks like one winner in this game.
The last match that CSK played was an absolute cliffhanger, when MS Dhoni first, and then Ravindra Jadeja brought the home side from the depths of defeat to a post seriously unbelievable victory.
"It was very difficult to watch this game from the dressing room," CSK batsman Suresh Raina told the IPL's official website. "But I think we played really well, especially Jadeja, who showed what sort of a player he is.
"He showed character and took responsibility. I'm very happy for what he has achieved. He has scored a lot of runs in the domestic competitions and he's also improved as a person. He's more determined as a batsman."
Confusion reigned in that match off the last ball bowled by RP Singh. A top edge from Jadeja led to the ball falling straight into the lap of the fielder at third man, only for everyone, after a moment's pause, to realize the umpire had his arm out for no-ball.
"It was chaos," Raina added. "When Jadeja played that last shot, we sat in the dugout and saw the RCB guys going up thinking they'd won.
"We thought so too. Then suddenly Choudhary signalled the no-ball and we didn't know what was happening. It was only after a few moments that we realised that we were sitting in the winning team dugout."
Pune have plenty of problems of their own, starting with their captain Angelo Mathews, who has looked out of his depth when it has come to the high pressure situations in the IPL.
His absence against CSK might be a blessing in disguise, with Steven Smith, the star for Pune in IPL 2012, set to be given a chance in his stead. Ross Taylor will lead the squad as Pune look for a much-needed win against the formidable CSK.
