Final Score: KC 1-0 ATL
The Atlanta Braves host the Kansas City Royals for the final game of their short series at 12 p.m. ET. The Braves are looking for their 11th win and as many of us are working today, we'd like to keep up with the score since we can't watch the game. If you want to keep up with the game, look no further. Check out MLB Gameday's updates with score, pitch-by-pitch breakdown and lineups for both squads. Let's look at the starting lineups and pitching matchups.
The Braves have to feel great about their squad. They have a couple of key guys (Freddie Freeman, Brian McCann) injured and they are still pulling through day after day after getting their wins. They have relied on solo home runs for the first three weeks of the year and they hit three major ones in the bottom of the eighth to get their 10th straight victory. Jason Heyward started it with an opposite field bomb, then Justin Upton pulled a high fastball over the left field wall and Dan Uggla sent another souvenir to left field as the Braves rallied late to get the win.
