Katherine Webb was made famous for being AJ McCarron's girlfriend and after turning that into a Sports Illustrated swimsuit appearance and a new career as a reporter and model, Webb joined the reality show "Splash" on ABC, but now she will have to quit.
According to Yahoo, Webb was forced to leave the show due to an injury after taking a practice dive and on Tuesday's show she announced that she was done. Webb was replaced by Louie Anderson instead and she was seen crying and upset after dealing with a back injury after landing hard at one of the earlier practices.
"I've had the worst time training this week because even the most simplest dives shot pain all the way from the middle of my back down my leg," she said on the show. "I went to the doctor and unfortunately he told me I'm out for the competition"
Webb rocketed to stardom after being seen on television at the BCS championship game and turned into a Twitter phenomenon that saw her get into the SI Swimsuit issue, a reporting gig at the Super Bowl as well as modeling contracts and TV appearances.
