Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets: Harvey vs. Starsburg as Aces Take the Mound

The New York Mets and Washington Nationals meet in their first series of the season. The Mets host the Nationals in Citi Field and we have the live stream available for this matchup. Are you a Mets or Nationals fan outside of both team's coverage? Then the live stream is perfect for you. However, let's study this pitching matchup and find otu what all the hype is about.

If we told you to match numbers to the correct pitcher, which would you assign to Matt Harvey of the Mets and Stephen Strasburgh of the Nationals?

3-0, 0.82 ERA, 25 strikeouts in 22 innings pitched vs. 1-2, 2.95 ERA, 15 strikeouts 18.1 innings pitched

Before you're quick to answer, the number of the left belongs to the Mets while the numbers on the right belong to the MLB's right-handed phenom, Strasburg. Harvey has been lights out in his first season in the Mets starting rotation. There was some fanfare about Harvey's start in 2013, but nothing compared to the ESPN televised debut of Strasburg against the Pirates.

Strasburg pitched well in his last start against the Atlanta Braves, but was only rewarded with a loss after giving up a two-run home run that was enough for the Braves to win the game.
