The death of Los Angeles Clippers Owner Donald Sterling's son Scott was ruled accidental on Monday as the Los Angeles County Coroner's made the announcement.

According to the Associated Press, the death of Sterling was ruled a drug-related accident and officials said that he died from issues related to a pulmonary embolism and he took an injection of a narcotic that should be done orally. His diabetes also played a factor in the death and the reports said that the painkiller oxycodone was in his system when he died.

The 32-year-old was found dead on New Year 's Day in his beach home in Malibu and the death was looked at as a drug overdose when the autopsy was performed. The final report will be released in two weeks and currently Sterling's Clippers are in the playoff and are up 2-0 on the Grizzlies.
