Newcastle FC's Nile Ranger Arrested in Town Centre for Breaching Bail

Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger has admitted breaching his bail conditions after being arrested outside a Tyneside casino.
The 20-year-old forward has admitted the breach at Newcastle magistrates' court and has been given bail again with the same conditions.
He is on bail pending trial at Newcastle crown court on assault charges. He was granted bail on condition that he does not enter Newcastle's city centre.

The striker will go before the same magistrates' on Wednesday on an unrelated drunk and disorderly charge.

Ranger has recently returned from loan spell after he was injured at Championship outfit Barnsley FC.

The north London-born striker has not played for Newcastle since the end of the 2010-11 season.

He has represented the England under-19 squad 12 times in his career, scoring six goals.
