New York Yankees Live Stream vs. Toronto Blue Jays: A.L. East Rivals Face Off at 7 p.m. ET

The New York Yankees host the Toronto Blue Jays in the second game of their four-game set at Yankee Stadium. Check out the live stream provided by MLB.TV as first pitch is set for a little after 7:10 p.m. ET.

The Yankees won the first game on Thursday as they came from behind to defeat the Blue Jays 5-3 as their bats, as always, came back to help win the game. Robinson Cano, Vernon Wells and Francisco Cervelli went deep as the Yanks roared back in traditional Bronx Bomber fashion.

On the hill today, the Yankees will send the struggling Ivan Nova. In 14.2 innings pitched in 2013, Nova has allowed 10 earned runs for a 6.14 ERA. Though his total numbers won't show it, he has a 1-1 record with one decent start against the Arizona Diamondbacks where he won after allowing just two earned runs in five innings pitched. The Yankees hope they can see this Nova pitch against the Blue Jays.

In his last start in Toronto against these blue birds, Nova went five innings and allowed four earned runs as the Blue Jays rallied to beat the Yankees 8-4. Nova got the no-decision.

On the hill for the Blue Jays, Aaron Laffey takes the mound. Josh Johnson was supposed to get the mound, but because of a tight tricep, Toronto sat Johnson and will give Laffey the ball instead. Laffey is a 28-year-old lefty who has bounced around the majors. He started two games for the New York Mets before getting picked up by the Blue Jays and posted a 7.20 ERA allowing eight runs in 10 innings pitched.

The Yankees are 12-9 in 2013 and sitting in third place in the A.L. East, while the Blue Jays are in last place with a 9-14 record.
