NBA Playoffs 2013 Standings: Stephen Curry Fights With Fan As Denver Nuggets Defeat Golden State Warriors In Dirty Game 5 With Game 6 Thursday (VIDEO)

Stephen Curry was injured already in the Golden State-Denver first round series and the Nuggets did their best to ensure that he stayed that way, as Game 5 got extremely physical at the Pepsi Center and Curry let it get to him after the game.

According to Deadspin.com, Curry was heated after the game and on vide of the broadcast he could be seen jawing with a fan from the stands as the team left the court and headed to the locker room. He was held back by one of his teammates and after the game Mark Jackson spoke about all the "dirty" plays in the game, including one that went after Curry's ankle in the 107-100 loss.

Following the game, Curry said that the fan said "something dumb" and he told him to be quiet and nothing more. Curry had been fantastic while helping the Warriors get a 3-1 series lead and he is averaging nearly 30 points per game, although he was held back on Tuesday night. Curry hurt his ankle in Game 2 and Mark Jackson said the Nuggets sent "hit men" after him during the game.

Afterwards a number of Nuggets players said that the hard fouls and plays started from the Warriors, with Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried saying that Denver is not a dirty team and that the Warriors started it up earlier in the series.
