Tim Tebow Rumors: Miami Dolphins An Option Says Agent Drew Rosenhaus As Quarterback Works Out At IMG Academy In Florida (PHOTOS)

Tim Tebow is still without a team after being released by the New York Jets and despite some rumors and fits about possible options in the NFL with the Bears and Patriots, no team has stepped forward, but that could change says super-agent Drew Rosenhaus.

According to CBSSports.com, Rosenhaus said in a radio interview with 560 WQAM that he "wouldn't be shocked" if the Miami Dolphins were interested in the quarterback despite having Ryan Tannehill. The report says that despite the fact that the Dolphins have not stated they have interest in the former Heisman winner, Rosenhaus said that Miami owner Stephen Ross loves him.

The report goes on to mention how the Dolphins set up a special day at the stadium for University of Florida players when Tebow brought the Denver Broncos to town and since Ross is also a bit of a "Hollywood" type, Tebow could be a fit for the pure entertainment factor. Tebow could actually be a good backup for Tannehill, as he could come in in certain spots and since the team has invested in him, there is a good chance he will start no matter what. The risk-reward is a good balance since the risk is just media exposure and the reward could be wins and touchdowns.

General manager Jeff Ireland is not afraid to take a risk, evidenced by trading up to get Dion Jordan with the third pick and even though owner Woody Johnson brought him to the Jets as a distraction, Miami could actually use him and try to give their offense a new dimension. Tebow could fit with a number of teams, but so far no one has brought him in. The CFL and Lingerie Football leagues have made him offers, as has an indoor football team.

Tebow was grossly underused in New York and he gained just 102 yards on the ground and 39 in the air after leading the Broncos to the playoffs the season before. As the Dolphins know firsthand, Tebow can win a game on his own, as he did against Miami when he was a starter and he could do that again back in his home state where he is a beloved figure.
