Indiana Pacers vs. Atlanta Hawks Live Stream: Watch Free Online NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference First Round Game 6 at 7 PM ET

To use the word 'inconsistent' for the Atlanta Hawks is relatively fitting. After winning two playoff games at home, the team returned to Indiana to put together yet another dismal performance on the road. The team arrived back in Atlanta for Game 6 and decided not to have their normal practice. They did not watch any game tape. Instead, they went home. According to head coach Larry Drew, the team was "mentally fatigued" and they needed to recharge.

Maybe recharging will help a team that failed to get off the bus for Game 5. Indiana played like the team they had been in the first two games of the series, dominating on both sides of the ball as the won 106-83. A win on Friday would secure the Pacers a spot in the next round of the playoffs.

The Hawks lost their composure in Game 5. Josh Smith, Jeff Teague and Ivan Johnson all picked up technical fouls as they proceeded to be too worried about the officials than they were the actual game. The team collapses, looking a complete 180 from the team that had won the last two games in Atlanta. The Hawks have to hope for a win on Friday for an attempt to force a Game 7 in Indiana. Atlanta has lost all three postseason games in Indiana by an average margin of 18 points so their chances look slim to none.

The one thing Atlanta has going is that Indiana has failed to win in Atlanta in the last 13 games. The streak dates back to 2006. The Pacers were able to hold the Hawks to 33 percent shooting in Game 5, allowing Smith and Horford to combine for 10 of 30 shooting. Kyle Korver never found his groove shooting behind the arc and Teague went 3 for 16. Offensively, they look their best they have all postseason. David West had a series-best 24 points, while Paul George recorded 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the team.

The Hawks will soon find out if their time apart will help them win a crucial Game 6. If not, they will have plenty of time to "recharge" as they are cleaning out their lockers.
