And then there were eight.
The NBA Playoffs continues to roll on with the next round of the postseason as only eight teams will remain after Saturday evening. Check out when and who your team, if still alive, is set to face off in the second round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs.
First we begin with the defending NBA Champion Miami Heat. Unfortunately for them, they don't know who to prepare for yet as the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls are playing in Game 7 Saturday evening. As a result, we do not know when they'll be hitting the floor again in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Rihanna has it better, despite the Nets/Bulls interruption, she knows her concert has been moved up to Tuesday.
The other teams in the Eastern Conference Semifinals are the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers. Their schedule looks as follows:
Game 1 @Madison Square Garden: Sunday, 3:30 p.m. ET
In the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Memphis Grizzlies will face off. Here's what their Game 1 schedule looks like:
Game 1 @Chesapeake Energy Arena: Sunday, 1 p.m. ET
Both teams are fresh off Game 6 victories as they, together with the Knicks and Pacers, were part of the super packed Friday evening of back-to-back playoff double-headers.
The Golden State Warriors and Spurs' Game 1 looks as follows:
Game 1 @AT&T Center: Monday, 9:30 p.m. ET
The Spurs come off a week long hiatus as they take on the No. 6 ranked Warriors. Stephen Curry is red hot and ready to continue upsetting higher seeded teams. There is no doubt Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich will start his main guys as the Spurs will look to dispose the Warriors quickly.
