UPDATE--- Both Knicks vs. Pacers & Thunder vs. Grizzlies will be on TNT on Tuesday, May 7. Knicks play at 7 p.m. ET. Thunder at 9:30 p.m. ET
The second round of the NBA Playoffs are kicking off and here's the TV shedule for both of these games. The good thing, only one channel will carry the action as the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Memphis Grizzlies while the New York Knicks take it back to Madison Square Garden where they will play the Indiana Pacers.
Here's the info:
Thunder vs. Grizzlies- Where to watch? ABC at 1 p.m. ET.
The Thunder and Grizzlies come ino this game with the same amount of rest after taking their last series to six games. The Thunder had to work hard to get past the Houston Rockets, while the Grizzlies had to survive being down 0-2 to the Los Angeles Clippers as these two teams once again hooked up for a classic series.
The Grizzlies could take advantage of the Thunder as they are currently going through an identity crisis. There is no Russell Westbrook, which is a problem as Tony Allen is a defensive genius and will give Thunder guards a hard time all series long. As for the Grizzlies, this is great news, not only because one of the most explosive guys in the league is out, but because their bigs have carried them after Game 3 of the first round and suddenly, they seem to have a winning formula in tact.
Knicks vs. Pacers- Where to watch? ABC at 3 p.m. ET
The Knicks and Pacers are also Game 6 survivors in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The Pacers had to put away the Atlanta Hawks while the Knicks also had to follow suit as they couldn't finish off the Boston Celtics in 5.
The Knicks have the more offensive minded team in this matchup, while the Pacers bring toughness and defense into the series.
Tune into ABC as they will be showing basketball for over five hours on Sunday. It's Game 1 of the second round for all four of these teams. Don't miss the action.
