Martin, a 17-year-old high school student, was shot and killed by George Zimmerman on Feb. 26th while walking home from a convenience store after purchasing a drink and a bag of Skittles. Zimmerman claims that he shot Martin, an African-American, in self-defense, but many news organizations have raised serious doubts about Zimmerman's story.
Martin was unarmed, but Zimmerman allegedly felt he was acting suspicious when he walked out of the 7-Eleven wearing his hood over his head.
