The New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers meet again after three days of rest as they hook up for Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal matchup. Unfortunately, because it's ABC, there will be no live stream available online. Game time is at 8 p.m. ET.
The Knicks and Pacers have split the first two games of the series. The Pacers went into MSG and removed home court advantage from the Knicks and they can now take advantage of their home crowd and steal another one from the Knicks. Many considered the Pacers victory over the Knicks an upset, but these teams finished second and third in the standings with the Knicks holding the better record. These teams matchup pretty evenly.
The Knicks are lacking big time play from their center, Tyson Chandler. He hasn't made the greatest of contributions in the past two games averaging six points and just 3.5 rebounds per game. Those numbers are hideous. He's not the greatest of scorers, but his rebounding has dropped dramatically after averaging at least 10 per game.
The Knicks are lacking size, but they might receive some help from Amar'e Stoudemire, who is expected to play anywhere from 15-20 minutes. This will give the Pacers help on size as they possess other scrappy players like Tyler Hansbrough, who is a fighter on the boards.
The Pacers come into this game with the size advantage, not to mention that they are younger than the Knicks. David West and Paul George can crash the boards, giving the Pacers more opportunities on the offensive end.
You can tune into ABC to watch Game 3 of the Knicks vs. Pacers as they go for the tiebreaker Saturday evening.
