Thirty golfers stripped off and played mini golf naked to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Charity at the Adventure Island in Southend, Essex, Associated Press has reported.
The participants, dubbed as "brave souls" with "naked ambition", played the 18-hole course without clothes in extremely cold conditions.
The Adventure Island on Southend seafront, a well-known naked World Record-breaking venue, has set a new Guinness World Record of most naked people playing tiny golf in an hour.
In 2010, around 102 people stripped off to set a world record of "Most Naked People on a Rollercoaster," at the same park.
Interestingly, the venue also has a world-record for World's largest portion of chips (448kg) in its name.
People travelled from all over the UK to join the cause. They raised nearly £3,000 ($4759) that will go to the Prostate Cancer Charity.
"It's been an absolutely superb day with people all enjoying the chance to do something memorable, have good fun and raise a large amount of money for a fantastic, charity, of which we are proud to be patrons," Adventure Island managing director Marc Miller said.
"We've heard some amazing stories from so many who have been directly, or indirectly, affected by cancer and wanted to give something back," he told AP.
"We are truly in awe of the courageous characters who bared all in the name ofprostate cancer and cannot thank them enough," said Mark Bishop, the director of the aid organization, adding, "There is nothing wrong with naked ambition especially when it's for such a worthwhile cause."
Tracy Jones, the event co-ordinator, said they had set a minimum of 30 "brave souls" who would be considered for the world record.
"It was certainly quite chilly down there this morning and there were quite a lot of goose bumps, but people very much got into the spirit of it, stripped off and got on with it," BBC quoted Jones as saying.
"With them having to bend down to retrieve the balls from the holes, it made for some interesting sights," she briskly added.
