So far, the Giants have dominated this series. Atlanta took the first game, but then their pitching betrayed them Friday and Saturday. In total, the Giants have scored 18 runs in the last two games and they have outscored the Braves by 15 runs. That's the Giants traditional dominant pitching and scrappy hitting at its best. 

The Braves have been in a bit of a skid lately. In the month of May, they have lost 6 of 10 games played. The team's 11-1 has been forgotten as their bats have cooled down and they have been unable to play consistent baseball. Brian McCann has given them a boost on offense as Justin Upton's power has died down. 

For the Giants, they have put together a better run, winning 7 of 10. Both teams are in first place in their divisions and will look to stay at their top of their divisions and make a run at the playoffs. The Giants and Braves are just one game up on the second place teams in their divisions. The Giants are 22-15 while the Braves are 21-15.
